BM833A, BM833AF, nRF52811 Long Range Bluetooth 5.4, Thread, Zigbee Module

BM833A and BM833AF are Bluetooth Low Energy, modules using Nordic nRF52811 SoC with integrated high performance PCB trace antenna.

Differences between modules:

• Size of BM833A is 10.2x15x1.9 mm; BM833AF is 10.2 (15 antenna area) x 20.6x1.9mm

• Range between two BM833As is estimated at 340 meters at 1Mbps; between two BM833AF is 760 meters.

BM833A Series are pin to pin compatible with BM832A nRF52810 module. Three main differences:

1. Supports Direction Finding.

2. Supports CODY PHY at 500 Kbps and 125 Kbps for longer range

Supports Thread and Zigbee radio protocols.

nRF52833 modules, BM833, BM833F, and BM833E offer more memories, more GPIOs, higher TX power, and operate from -40C to +105C.

Approtect

You can lock the SWDIO port to prevent hacking for the module with a -p, for example, BM833A-p. Or, all modules with date codes 2501 or newer. You need to use SDK 1.7.0 or newer. No product re-certification is needed. Order free evaluation samples.
