WiFi 6 Companion Module Summaries

WiFi ranges are the average of 12 measurements with an iPhone 14. WiFi module is rotated by 30 degrees after each measurement. SDK 2.5.0 default settings are used. WiFi ranges will be measured again after FCC certification.

WM02C

  • Uses an integrated horizontal chip antenna for both 5GHz and 2.4GHz

  • Size: 12x20.0 mm

WM02F

  • Uses a high performance PCB antenna for both 5GHz and 2.4GHz

  • Size: 12 (15.a antenna area) x23.8 mm

WM02E

  • An u.FL connectors for external antenna for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

  • Size: 12x16.2mm

WM02V

  • Uses an integrated vertical chip antenna for both 5GHz and 2.4GHz

  • Size: 12x25.2 mm

Host MCUs by Fanstel, certified or will be certified for BLE and 802.15.4, ready for Matter Applications.

  • nRF5340 modules: BT40, BT40F, BT40E; BT40N, BT40NE (with nRF21540 PA for long range 802.15.4 applications)

  • nRF52840 modules: BT840, BT840E, BT840F; BT840N, BT840NE (with nRF21540 PA for long range 802.15.4 applications)

  • For low cost applications, BM840 is suggested. BM840 is certified for BLE only.
